Should Nuggets fans be nervous after game 2?

The Nuggets dropped game 2 of the NBA finals Sunday night to the Heat. This is their first home loss of the playoff and the first home loss since March.

As expected many fans are freaking out now. They have seen the Heat win games like this against the Bucks, Knicks, and Celtics and now are feeling like it the worst case scenario could happen to their team. Is it possible. Sure. The Heat some some strange postseason voodoo magic to them what feels like every year. Eric Spoelstra is just Mr. May/June and no matter who is on his team, a playoff run is always possible. Anything can and will happen with this team.

But the Nuggets are also a great team with the best player in the world and still match up well against the Heat.

Game two felt like a big over correction for the Nuggets. Just as everyone said Max Strus wasn’t gonna have zero points every game MPJ isn’t going to have 5 points again like he did in game two. Jamal isn’t going to wait till the 4th to make shots. This will correct itself.

Adam Silver also made the call down for the free throw over correction. Miami only shot 2 free throws in game one so the foul party was inevitable.

I expect the game 3 Nuggets to look like more of what we have been seeing in these playoffs.

So in summary, should Nuggets fans be nervous? Maybe a little because it the heat and it’s the finals, but nothing crazy. Let’s just knock on wood and trust Jokic.

Overall panic level 4/10.
