College Football Rivalry Week Picks and Predicitons

Last Week 3-2

Disclaimer: I’m not an expert. I’m just a fan who likes to watch football and gamble on games. No one is actually good at this. Bet responsibly.

Cinncinati ML

Tulane has been a great team all year, but people have forgotten how good this Cincinnati team still is. You get the better coach, at home in a big game it’s hard to go against them.

Michigan +7.5

Blake Corum is officially playing for Michigan and that means this game just got a whole lot more interesting. Over a touchdown feels like too much for how talented Michigan is. Especially if they’re healthy enough now to run the ball effectively and chew up the clock I see this game being very close.

Clemson -14

This is the mother of all letdowns for South Carolina. The beatdown they did last week against Tennesse was a moment for the ages, but it’s back to reality now. Clemson still has a slight chance to make the playoff and a blowout here would really help them. Clemson will be looking to make a statement

Kentucky -3

Louisville is just a different team on the road vs at home this year. They have been able to generate some magic like we saw last week at home, but on the road has been a different story. Kentucky has been up and down this year but ultimately is the better team here.

Auburn +22

I know it’s a rivalry but what does Alabama have to play for at this point. No conference championship, and no playoff hopes. This is the least motivation Alabama has had for this game in a long time. Auburn on the other hand is playing for bowl eligibility and has been on a hot streak. 22 is just way too many points in this game… I think. It is Alabama,

Oregon St +3

This is a tough spot for Oregon. Sure it’s a rivalry so they will be somewhat motivated. But Oregon State is little brother, and the Ducks already clinched a spot in the Pac-12 title game to look forward to next week. I think Oregon State could be getting overlooked as Oregon preps for the title game. The Beavers are strong this year and can pick off any team in the Pac-12, especially at home.

Wisconsin -3

Wisconsin lost this game last year which resulted in them missing the Big Ten title game. Now the Badgers have a chance to get revenge back in Maddison. Wisconsin’s defense should be able to contain Minnesota’s offense.

Texas A&M +10

Look A&M is terrible. It has been nothing short of a dumpster fire this season. However, as far as storylines are concerned. This game is similar to last year, but the roles are flipped. Last year a dead LSU team spoiled things for A&M. The aggies are way more dead than that LSU team, but they have a chance to end the season on a bright spot with an upset here. With LSU already setting its eyes on Georgia and the SEC title, this game spells trouble.

Notre Dame +5.5

Picking the evil empire that is Notre Dame Football feels very wrong, but I think the Irish have a good chance this weekend. Although they have been down this year, the Irish have looked much better since losing to Standford. They show up for the big games, we saw it against Clemson and we’re gonna see it here as they have a chance to spoil their rivals’ playoff hopes. If we know one thing about the Pac-12 it’s that it will collapse in the last part of the season. USC is the final piece to the disaster puzzle.

Vanderbilt +14

Motivation is a common theme this week, and Tennesse now has zero motivation to even show up to this game. They have no playoff hopes, a backup QB, and upset fans. How do they wake up to go play at Vanderbilt? On the other side, Vanderbilt is one win away from bowl eligibility for what feels like the first time in 100 years. Things are happening in Nashville

Kansas +12

This is the best Kansas team we have seen in a long time. Finally, there is a Jayhawks team capable of playing spoiler against KSU. I’m simply a believer in this Kansas team. Every week they shock everyone good or bad. Closing out the regular season spoiling Kansas states title chance just feels too poetic to pass up.
