Last Week: 4-3
Disclaimer: I’m not an expert. I’m just a fan who likes to watch football and gamble on games. No one is actually good at this. Bet responsibly.
West Virginia +7.5
You would think after going against TCU for the past three weeks I would have learned my lesson now. Turns out I haven’t. West Virginia is a way better team at home and should keep this game close. TCU is a great story but, I’m still not buying it. TCU has gotten bailed out week after week and I think it ends here against a desperate Neal Brown who is coaching for his job.
Notre Dame +1.5
Notre Dame is one of the biggest disappointments of this year. The disgusting performances Notre Dame has put out recently need to be shelved because this is a good spot for them. Notre Dame is much better than their 4-3 record, and Syracuse is worse than their 6-1 record. I expect Notre Dame to make a statement and pick up a ranked win against the Orange.
Kansas St ML
Kansas State was robbed last week in Fort Worth against TCU. Kansas State should have won that game but a series of QB injuries spoiled the party. I expect Adrain Martinez to return in this game and make a statement. OSU is also facing some QB injuries that could make this game more even. I give the edge to Kansas State with the home-field advantage in addition to coming off a loss.
Kentucky +12
Tennesse has looked great through 8 weeks, but this is the look ahead of all look ahead spots. Since beating Alabama, everyone has jumped to the Tennessee matchup against Georgia on November 5th. It’s going to be tough for Tennesse to get up for this game with all the hype surrounding next week. Kentucky isn’t amazing, but they are a well-coached team too good to be overlooked. A win is a lot to ask for Kentucky in Knoxville, but I think this could be closer than people expect.
Texas A&M +2
I’m simply not a believer in Ole Miss. I haven’t seen anything from them to convince me they are as strong as the AP poll believes they are. They have will be traveling to a tough spot against a team with a ton of talent and a desperate coach. This spells a lot of trouble for Ole Miss. This seems like a good spot for Jimbo to win back the A&M fans with a good win.
