College Football Week 6 Picks

Last Week 4-3

Disclaimer: I’m not an expert. I’m just a fan who likes to watch football and gamble on games. Bet responsibly.

Nebraska -3

I know Nebraska has been a joke the past two seasons I get it. There is enough talent on this roster for them to still get wins. They looked good against Indiana last week and I expect that to continue this weekend. The players seem to like interim Head Coach Mickey Joseph and momentum is building for the Huskers.

LSU +3

Tennessee has been better than it has been in a long time. The energy in Knoxville is fantastic, and it’s great for college football. However, this is a terrible spot for the Volunteers. There is a semi let down after a huge win against Florida, who isn’t even that good. This game also doubles as a look ahead with Alabama being the opponent next week. This game feels like trouble for Tennesse. LSU isn’t bad enough to be overlooked especially at home.

Miami -3.5

Miami is currently one of the more disappointing teams in the ACC. After losing to MTSU at home just days after their own QB slandered the home environment everyone has buried the Canes. While they deserve some of the criticism they have received, North Carolina has not gotten enough criticism. They are 4-1 right now, but could easily be 1-4 instead. I think the Canes get back on track against the Tarheels.

Kansas +7

I will be sticking with Kansas until they give me a reason not to. I want to be a part of this legendary ride for as long as I can.

Notre Dame -3.5

Anytime I pick Notre Dame it feels wrong, but they are the play here. BYU is plenty overrated as of now. The neutral sight probably helps Notre Dame more than BYU since the Notre Dame stadium is usually filled with Alumni in their 60s. I think Marcus Freeman is bound to get this team back on track at some point and this would be a great spot for them to do that.

Texas Tech +9.5

The Big 12 has been absolute chaos through the first half of the season and I don’t expect it to change. With that being considered, it feels like Oklahoma State has avoided this chaos for the most part. This game feels like a spot where it will finally catch up to them. OSU has a huge game against TCU coming up next week making this potentially a look ahead. 9.5 feels like a lot for a Texas Tech team who has shown they can make games interesting.
