Last week 4-1-1
Thursday Night 1-0
Disclaimer: I am not an expert. I’m just a fan who likes to watch football and bet on the games. Bet responsibly.
Jaguars +6.5
Good news for Jaguars fans, the team has turned it around since last season. Bad news, you play the only undefeated team in the NFL this week with an MVP candidate at Quarterback. Everyone seems to be riding high on the eagles currently, and that includes the betting public. The Jaguars are a much better team than last year and are capable of competing with anyone. A win will be tough to get against the Eagles, but 6.5 points are too many for the new and improved Trevor Lawrence.
Falcons +1
There’s an argument to be made for the Falcons being the worst team to be on in the NFL. It’s been a recurring theme that Falcons ruing your Sunday by blowing a lead in the last minute of game. So while it doesn’t feel right to ever pick the Falcons they are the play in this game. The Browns are overvalued here against a Falcons team who lost two tough games to start the season. The Browns have wins over a Steelers team with no quarterback and the train wreck that is the Panthers. Now they are traveling to Atlanta to play in a tough environment. I think the Falcons take care of business at home.
Bills +3
The Bills are coming off a tough loss last week to the Dolphins. While concerns may be warranted after their play in week 3, this game screams bounce back. Josh Allen was making uncharacteristic mistakes in south Florida that cost them the game. That’s not happening two weeks in a row. The Raven’s secondary is awful I think Bill’s offense will be able to exploit it.
Texans +5.5
The Texans are a confusing team this year. Currently, they are winless, but they are just a few plays away from also being 3-0. Each game crumbled in their hands during the 4th Quarter. As the best “bad” team, it’s only a matter of time until they pick a team off while getting undervalued. Justin Herbert is still battling a rib issue and isn’t 100%. Now they are going on the road to play this hungry Texans team. Wouldn’t surprise me if the Texans sneak away with a win, wouldn’t surprise me if the Texans fumble away another game.
Chiefs ML
Sunday Night Football is a battle of two heavyweights this week. This line opened at 2.5 and has moved like crazy down to a pickem (this was written on 9/30). This line movement mixed with a game past Tom Bradys bed time screams the Chiefs. I despise no NFL team more than the Chiefs, but they are the Play here. Tom Brady has been battling a finger injury that is limiting the Buccaneer’s offense. The Chiefs are going to score no matter what, and the Bucs may struggle to keep up.
49ers ML
After playing in a stinker last week in primetime the 49ers return to primetime, this time on Monday night, to take on the Rams. The 49ers have had two disgusting losses now to the Bears and Broncos and need a win desperately. Hosting a game in primetime is a great spot to get back on track. Being a favorite over the Rams after playing as bad as they have tells you VEgas thinks they are going to get back on track as well.
